The firm’s Employment Law Section has represented local and national employers, including non-profits and various types of businesses. The section is experienced in advising clients on pre-litigation and litigation matters, including issues employers should consider in all aspects of the employment relationship. The section also has been retained by insurance carriers to represent insureds in employment related litigation. John L Cooley and John Mark Cooley are experienced with the EEOC charge and investigation process and understand the nature of employee discrimination charges. John L Cooley has developed an Employment Law Audit focusing on contract, employee handbooks and the numerous federal anti-discrimination statutes.
